This pure essential oil blend has been developed to support Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's Disease, Irritable Bowel Disease and all sorts of tummy trouble including anxiety related tummy upsets.
It is a blend of the following essential oils:
Copaiba: A powerful anti-inflammatory. Copaiba helps to heal the gut lining and reduces stress and anxiety.
Peppermint: Reduces abdominal discomfort and cramping.
Ginger: Aids digestion by stimulating production of gastric juices and bile. Ginger reduces nausea and gastric reflux.
Fennel: Helps reduce the build up of gas in the digestive tract which relieves bloating and cramps. Fennel in a great anti-spasmodic. It stimulates the production of digestive enzymes and promotes nutrient absorption.
Lavender: Lavender is the great relaxing oil and it relaxes the muscles of the digestive tract, reducing cramps and spasms. The whole body and mind is calmed by Lavender which helps balance the digestive system. If anxiety is making your tummy worse, Lavender is perfect to help with this.
Chamomile: Chamomile is a highly anti-inflammatory essential oil which has a calming and soothing effect on the digestive tract.
Clary Sage: Clary Sage is an anti-spasmodic oil which has a particularly beneficial effect on the digestive system.
HOW TO USE THE DIGESTIVE BLEND
Mix with a carrier oil of your choice to between 1 and 3 %. 100 ml carrier oil - 1 to 3ml of the blend to create a massage oil. (1ml is approx. 20 drops) Massage the blend in a clockwise, circular motion starting on the right side of your lower abdomen, round to your rib cage, then across to the left side and down to the hip. (This movement mimics the direction of the digestive system.
